Wigwam nursery staff talking to parents

Parents Area

Welcome to our Parents Area. This space has been created as a simple starting point for families and brings together practical information that supports everyday life at Wigwam Nurseries. As the website develops, this page will grow into a helpful hub with clear guidance, useful documents and answers to common questions.

For now, we have included a small number of essential items that apply across all nurseries. These provide an early sense of what you will find here as the page expands. As we receive more details from each setting, we will add new sections so this becomes an easy place for families to check the information that matters most. Please feel free to revisit this page from time to time as more content is added.

Information for Parents

Children benefit from having a few familiar and practical items with them each day.
Please send
• A named water bottle
• A full set of spare clothes
• Nappies and wipes if required
• Appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather
• A comfort item if your child uses one

Please make sure all items are clearly named.

It is important that we know about any allergies, dietary needs or food preferences before your child starts.
Please share this information with the nursery team so we can ensure meals, snacks and activities are planned safely.
If anything changes, let us know so we can update your child’s records immediately.

If your child will be absent, please let the nursery know as early as possible.
You can contact the setting by phone or email.
Please tell us
• Your child’s name
• The reason for the absence
• The expected return date

If your child has an illness, please follow the recommended exclusion periods to help keep everyone safe.

Term dates and holiday arrangements vary across our nurseries.
These will be added once confirmed for each location.

Opening times vary from site to site.
Each nursery will display its hours clearly on its own page and this information will be added once confirmed.
