Our Staff
The quality and commitment of our staff at Papworth Day Nursery sets us apart from many other nurseries. We take the utmost care to recruit and retain only the best and most dedicated Early Years Practitioners – we are well aware that a nursery is only as good as its staff team.
All our staff have an appropriate childcare qualification and many of our senior staff members are qualified to degree level.
The quality of our staff, more than anything else, is the best possible guarantee that your child will receive a consistently high standard of care and be provided with a wide variety of stimulating learning experiences.
All staff undergo enhanced checks through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
All staff at Papworth will attend regular staff meetings and training sessions to keep abreast of good practice and update their skills. All staff will hold an OFSTED approved paediatric first aid training certificate and a food hygiene certificate.
New members of staff joining the nursery will not be left unsupervised with the children until we have received satisfactory clearance from The Disclosures and Barring Service.
From time to time nursery nurse students may spend time within the nursery as part of their training program. All students will be supervised at all times when working within the setting.
