The Maltings Day Nursery

About Barton Road Day Nursery

Barton Road Day Nursery has been created within a fully refurbished building that offers a calm, modern, and thoughtfully planned space for young children.

Our nursery is arranged across dedicated rooms for babies, toddlers, and pre school children, each designed to support the natural stages of early development. Every part of the setting has been considered with care, from the cosy play areas to the practical facilities such as our kitchen, laundry room, staff room, and welcoming reception.

Outdoor learning is a central part of our approach. Children enjoy their own secure garden where they can explore nature, grow vegetables, play creatively, and develop confidence in a safe and inviting environment. A covered outdoor area ensures fresh air and active play throughout the year, whatever the weather.

Our team is made up of experienced and qualified childcare practitioners who bring warmth, stability, and a genuine commitment to every child. Many members of staff have moved with the nursery from the previous site, giving families a sense of continuity and familiarity. New staff are carefully recruited to ensure that our standards remain high. We place great importance on safety, with secure gates, controlled access, and CCTV protecting the site at all times.
